Staying home might feel safer, but it doesn’t fix what happened.
When you come back to school, you notice some classmates whispering and a few giggling when you walk by. One person even brings up your post in class. You feel your face get hot and start avoiding eye contact. For the rest of the day, you keep wondering who saw it and what they think. Even though some people have already forgotten, you still feel embarrassed and unsure if you want to post anything again. It feels like the problem got bigger just because you didn’t talk about it. Avoiding things can make the problem feel bigger than it is.
