Is telling a school counselor the right thing to do?
You choose not to send the photo to anyone else, but you feel uneasy about it. So, you decide to tell a school counselor what happened. The counselor listens and thanks you for coming forward. Later, you hear that they spoke with the person in the photo, who felt relieved knowing an adult was there to help. By reaching out for support, you helped protect someone’s privacy and showed you cared about doing the right thing.
Tell your friend that it's hurtful and could even be dangerous to spread something like this around.
