Definitions

Virtual Identity: The way you present yourself online, like your username, profile picture, and the things you post or share on the internet. It’s how others see you in cyberspace.

Cyber: Anything related to computers, the internet, or technology. For example, cyber safety means staying safe online.

Accounts: Personal profiles you create on websites or apps, like Instagram, TikTok, or Snapchat, where you can post, share, and connect with others.

Screenshot: A picture you take of whatever is showing on your screen, like saving a text or post as an image.

Private: Something meant to stay personal or only shared with a small group of people, like your password or private messages.

Glossary

Public: Information or posts that anyone can see, even people you don’t know, like a public comment or profile.

Tagging: Mentioning or linking someone in a post or photo so they can see it, like tagging a friend in a picture on Instagram.
